"Haha thought so I love the welsh tho so got me excited I want to move there!!"
Valleys born and bred no better no worse than anyone. We can be very welcoming of others. Lol.
The main difference is we need to wear our vests and longjohns a month or so longer than those that live nearer the coast. .....
Come on move here you won't regret it
If the Welsh Tourist board is reading this I ll have the payment in cash rather than a cheque thanx

Born and bread deep in the rhondda valleys! Let me just say that after being away from there it is like a differwnt world elsewhere yes, BUT.... We are very welcoming, we do stand by and fore our own but also if somebody new joins the community then they are 1 of our own aswel. Theres not many places left in the uk who u know exactly who lives in what house on ur street, go 10 doors up for a cup of milk or sugar and chat like brothers. Only in the valleys! That programme is utter rubbish and wasnt really a valley person init! Just makes tele ahould know that from the dogging stories documentary. Before all the uk call us sheep sh**gers just think of it we do it then u eat it had to get that one in lol! Happy swinging! |

I love the friendly rivalry between the Valleys and the cities..
I remember someone once saying to me 'you can always spot the valley boy in a nightclub, Rugby club v neck jumper, grey Farrahs black shoes, white socks and a mullet!
Joking aside though, to the original poster, dont beleive what you hear, Wales is a very friendly place mate..and thats coming from an Englishman |

I loved watching series one, very erm, 'entertaining' and looking forward to series 2 .....but same as TOWIE and Geordie Shore, it takes the wannabe people and puts them into unrealistic situations!
The people here are lovely and we've been made to feel very welcome.....
