Bi nights at Chams Newport

"Do we need to be members already to attend?
They're closed and I can't get through on the phone, plus extreme phone anxiety "
No, you only need membership on a Friday from 8pm, when it becomes Chameleons. Saturday is pay on the door, £20pp. |

To be fair, quite a few of the guys who answer “straight” at the Greenhouse bi night are far from it.
Some are exploring, and not willing to admit to themselves they’re bi yet. Some are deeply in the closet (for all sorts of reasons) and this is the only place they can feel at ease and normal.
Loads fewer bi men are out & happy to admit it than bi women because the stigma is so huge. Shitloads of women wouldn’t touch an out bi guy with a bargepole (even quite a few bi women, which is a bit crap).
Some of the straight guys there are with their bi wives/gfs, and that’s gotta be ok as well. I think bi nights should be open to straight partners.
There’s quite a few there who are just straight, though, and looking for women and it’s a problem given it’s one of the only explicitly bisexual spaces in the area. Can’t help thinking they should just go somewhere else. |

"Perhaps there should be an assessment of single guys at the entrance. Get everyone to suck a cock before getting in !"
I'll see most of you boys outside then, but saying that loads of straight guys willing to sell a portion of their sexuality for a shot at the wife |

This is the only part of your post I don't agree with, You can attend any club any day of week and see women with other women and noone bats a eye. Unless it's a specific bi night I've never seen men with other men.
A bi night should be just that everyone no matter your sex should be bi their is a stigma for whatever reason with bi men and that's why everyone should feel comfortable and safe in a non judgemental environment which is why we tend to travel around and attend bi events.
Let's be honest even calling Newport on a Saturday a bi night is a joke, it's a cheaper alternative as theirs no membership to pay their entry fee and hope they get lucky.
We used to enjoy a Saturday but it's definitely not very bi or bi friendly anymore. |

Exctally, it's called a bi night but there are more stright males there than bi.
No idea how to police it & it's the greenhouse model that there is no membership. |

"I'd go but I wouldn't be brave enough to go on my own."
Give it a go, mate. I’ve found it a welcoming place, with lots of nice open people happy to chat/play.
Plenty of gay/bi guys there, in my experience, along with straight guys as others have said. Fewer women than men, mostly, but there’s always a gender mix.
There’s no pressure for anyone to play, but if you want to there’s no shortage of chances at all.
My experience there is different from some on here* in that I’ve met loads of bi people there, and I value it as an explicitly bi place where being into multiple genders is the norm.
That’s rare around S Wales.
*I know my experience is different cos I’m a man, and don’t have to contend with being followed around by voiceless, desperate, sausage party dudes. |

Can you recommend other good bi nights elsewhere when you have time?
I like them for the same reason.
It’s rare for bi play for men to be the norm. |

"I normally go Saturday afternoon. Had some great experiences, shame couples don't go early in the day. Happy to meet there
A lot do not know it's open to couples in afternoon "
Yes, think you're right there's some confusion over who can attend |

Totally agree they should change it back to a chameleons night but their bi model as they do in dalerston on a Monday. |

Won't that entail a membership and a bit of a fee increase if chams take over Saturday?
Like someone said, Saturday is a bit more of a budget friendly option I believe |

If you already have a membership can still used just that single man can obtain a bi only membership and can only be used on bi events. The membership is much cheaper then a normal single membership. |

" We love a bi day/night at chams in Darlaston and we've never had no issues there. Single men do need a bi membership and it's not as expensive as the normal membership not sure on the price tho you would probably have to ring the club to find out. |
