Depending on what you are after, The Merry Gentry series by Laurell K Hamilton might be of interest (dark fantasy stuff). There's actually a decent story arc for the first 3 or 4 books, although after that it's pretty much smut  |

"Story of O by Pauline Réage. I actually got it out of Cardiff Central library many years ago. Definitely worth reading, it's damn hot.
