I totally agree. When you tell people you’re a nurse and they mention the uniform. The first thing I say is that it’s the complete opposite to the ann summers take on the uniform

If the OP is alluding to having a job that comes with a uniform, and whether that has some form of "pulling power", then I say it depends.

If you project the uniform as being your main, or only, selling point, using it as your persona, then no.

If you are looking to involve the uniform in some form of role-play, and having the knowledge of the job as a way to make the character more "in depth", or believable, then maybe.
