I however, it’d be really hard to stand out if all the guys were both stunningly good-looking and erudite too.
I’m single. I do have a kinda date on Wednesday though; my first since The Beatles split up (or it feels like) .

I'm a single guy.. I think I'd class myself as genuine!
*I say that because I dont have to think about that in real life.
I guess the herd of dickheads and fantasists can make not being authentic the norm sadly.
Like many I've been off and on here, my old account had veris
I've also been to a social (a long time ago)
But I would like to make a case for the genuine guys (and ladies / everyone else)
Who because of their circumstances can't or don't want to rock up to a social to prove they are genuine.
I'm a single parent when,so my free time is limited and often last min I get a night off so I can't always commit to events way in advance.
I also run my own business which is pretty public facing.. so last thing I want is to turn up to big social and meet loads of customers there especially if im just feeling it out.
I've nothing against the lifestyle or socials in general.. but like going into a pub you like, to meet people you like.. doesn't mean you want everyone else in the pub to know your business... or think they do.
I'd like to get back to social.
I'd like to try a club.
But I think it takes all sorts.. for all sorts.
So it's not as black and white as "genuine" or not |

I think there are very genuine men on this site. I won’t name names because they know who they are.
I’ve been lied to in the most abhorrent and disgusting way by someone from this site. Would have many many women off for life - I’m very lucky I have amazing friends on here who have literally been my backbone when I felt like crumbling.

That sounds horrendous. Sorry you had that happen.
I used a mod another adult site (profile mod) and i had ti stop because when you see the efforts some will go to, to be deceitful and ultimately potentially put someone else on a situation they didn't want to be in ... in some cases danger.
It gets to the point I didn't want to play anymore.
The anominity of thr Internet will always attract the fantasists.. that's fine.
But it can also attract genuinely nasty people.
You just hope the "society" can self police with support of the sites |

100% genuine with genuine verifications , some of us men are gents and make an effort.
Unfortunately there are so many idiots that spoil it for the genuine people which then makes it so hard for the really genuine guys on here
Have faith there are some decent ones of us floating about xx |

There's still few of us genuine guys.
Unfortunately we've been put into same drawer as idiots, cheaters, liars, pests, timewaisters etc.
We are minority here, and overwhelming amount of dickheads doesn't help.
And because of that is really hard to actually meet someone not mentioned veries.
We don't always have a time to go to parties and socials. From my experience, I have been on a few socials and never in my life felt so alienated.
I just moved to Cardiff from West Sussex and hoping that I can meet here some genuine people. |

Thank you x yes im starting to wonder what else he was capable of. I won’t mention it on a forum but those who know were absolutely dumbfounded. Netflix documentary type of deceit, lies and behaviour. Bloke was a complete fantasist.
Im sure I will look back one day and laugh but all it’s given me and my adult children is more trauma on top of what he already exploited me for.
Annnnnyways we move on

There is a rather unfortunate tendency for the less than genuine guys to give others a bad name.
At the end of the day we all know what we are here for, let's not be selfish and mess it up for everyone else with bad manners...
I hope everyone that is feeling the pain of the bad ones, finds more of what they want out if life |

Is there though? I've never felt that my name or my experiences have been sullied by those "less than genuine guys" on here. Their poor traits simply never overlap with my sensibilities. If the genuine guys are unsuccessful on here, it's not down to the "less than genuine guys" and their foibles.
