I'd suggest calling the club before hand if you plan going on a Friday.
I don't see a woman taking you with them unless you've met previously.
Unfortunately you have to bite the bullet and go.
You may be lucky and get in as a guest at £50 or end up having to join as a single guy which including entry is £105 |

I hate to say it but that just ruins it for new comers if you ask me, always wanted to come. But he’ll of a risk for £50 when you might have a quiet night in there. 105 for membership is this for the year and you have free entry all year or is it just a sign up fee? |

Risk if its a quiet night ? Clubs are by design a place for people to meet others that enjoy the same lifestyle. If it's quiet or not, you can still have a great night talking to others. |

Yeah but no need to try disregard my point, it’s only a point of opinion I’m making. I know you’re doing the same but hasn’t really helped me. Still woukd be disappointed if I paid £50 for a quiet nigjt, maybe they don’t want more custom. But i think if it was more fair priced for people then people would be more interested in going. And again just an opinion. I’m sure there’s many different views on this x |

I agree, however it's the same in the club scene as on here, that single guys are abundant.
The way I look at it is that if I was running a business I'd want to capitalise on the most abundant revenue stream, and unfortunately that means single guys pay more than others.
Look at this another way, if you went into town clubbing, would you spend more than 50 quid in one night at todays prices ? |

You would absolutely pay more than £50.
Besides, in what other club could you relax in the hot tub, open your pores in the steam room, or swing with gay abandonment on multiple swings?!
You can snack and converse at the bar, and oh also if you get tired, there are literally dozens of rooms with beds.  |

You both are doing a great job at getting me down there , it’s just so hard for first time people because I don’t want it to be a shit experience for my first time then turned off by clubs, I know there’s not much we can do about that, but that’s my only input that I would come all the way down and there be no fun for me, yeah a chat at a bar is good but you can do that at most places. But I do understand it’s a bit different there and I just hope if I did attend there would be something there for me. But again not much we can do about that is there. So is events mainly for members only, I would only probably look to come to an event see to ensure there was a good amount of people. |

Put your name down for the bbw event. No membership required then and you still have to pay guest price but I garuntee the place will be packed as its very popular  |

My first time at Newport was shit but the second wasn't, third time got better and well 11 yrs later it still can be hit and miss as times but I still get to meet people that are like-minded and enjoy having a good time.
Yes the price is a little high but it does sort the wheat from the chaff to an extent.

Maybe I do have the wrong fame of mind for a club, but again I’ve never been or spoke to anyone who goes so I really don’t understand the dynamic, but now I feel disappointed about the whole experience being told it’s not for me. I mean it is to meet more like minded people, but the whole excitement of it is more sexual adventure, I can get laid and I can p4y for sex, but it’s not the same, I would prefer to find a good connection or have good chat with people for sure. Just obviously I 100% had the fame of mind that people went there to meet people and have sexual encounters. I can see now how that must be wrong if you both so I’ll take your word. I do love me a bbw too, maybe I will attend and just be a fly on the wall so I don’t do anything wrong like I feel like I’ve done on this forum ahaha |

This can be quite confusing and I'm constantly getting it wrong myself .. Fridays is Chams which is membership only and can be quite expensive if you've never been to a club before and are not sure if you will enjoy.
Saturday it's the greenhouse which is cheaper (not sure on single men price) but it's non membership and it's open to anyone that is bi/bi friendly then rest of the week it's the greenhouse and it's a gay sauna.
We are members but we prefer Saturdays it's just our personal preference.Just look at it as having a nice night out chatting to like minded people and getting to know people and anything else is a added bonus..

When you attend a club you are promised nothing other than you will mingle with people after the same thing. The problem is some guys have in clubs and on here think they payed their money and are now guaranteed as sex. We all know that's the case. We don't play in clubs but use clubs for connections and a few weeks met at Newport we have played with outside of the club. You have to have an open mind and no expectations when you go to clubs. Thanks everyone really helpful appreciate the friendly response and I didn’t want to come across as someone who thinks there’s a guaranteed chance of sexual experience at the club because I didn’t stand I’m not special and everyone could say no and I’m happy with that, I was just looking to learn some more about what goes on I guess. Thank you all again hopefully we bump into each other there sometime |

I think a lot of guys view clubs as places where they're entitled to sex because they've paid to get in. Which is a total misunderstanding of how it all works. |

I've got stung on this one, offered to take a newbie,I paid to get in and he thought much like most do he would rock up and choose who he wanted! It's important to make connections, at least try and chat to a person that takes your fancy! You expect, you don't get...
Maybe in your case find a person you like first, then go together rather than asking a stranger?
