There use to be socials in Chester and bangor we have seen socials for Chester but there seem to hold during mid week , biker chick use to arrange meets before covid but she no longer does them ,
miss pennant as this was brilliant place for north wales peeps to meet up there ,

I wish there was something.
I went to GGs in runcorn fri and last week. Pretty easy to get to.
Then alchemy in Northwich pre new year. That was good too. Going this Sat.
Trying chams 11th Feb. But 90 min each way! |

As others have said Penant is a miss, i sometimes go to Northwich Spa, have been to Townhouse in Prenton but found it a bit clicky. It seems the North relies more on outdoor stuff but to be honest that is very much based on the Weather. Shame all round really. |

I know the site your on about, do they have a forum section where people can read and write stories. I like doing both but don’t want to bother joining that site if they don’t offer that facility. |

Many years ago when the internet was still fairly new here in the U.K. There used to be a group of people that would arrange car meetings in the North Wales area. I never went to one as I was too chicken, but spoke to several females and couples who swore it was a real thing.
I seem to remember the group used to use MSN chat rooms (these closed down years ago) to arrange meetings. I was told there could be a dozen or more cars meeting at the same time, it was always on private property so no danger of police intervention.
I haven’t heard about it for years I suspect it folded when the chat rooms closed. If any older readers ever went to any of these meet up it would be good to hear what they were like. I used to chat to one girl who used to go to then on her own. She said she felt quite safe as she knew everyone there. |
