Is it common to be let down on meets here?

Ye you’re right there it’s like a turn on for some obviously the chat.
It’s happening to me so much, today by 12 this afternoon two let down.
I’m 5 mins away, and no show xx I’m genuine so I don’t get it if I say I’m showing I’m showing, I had a couple lived same area as me walked out my flat they were 5 min walk away honest cancelled as I got outside lol x |

I think if you consider 75% of people on this site are timewasters, dreamers and delusional you won't go far wrong.
Initially, I'd stick to socials, parties and clubs where everyone who is there has actually shown up !!

It is and often the worst offenders are the ones that message you lots before the meet and then they either ghost you on the day or an hour before meeting come up with the most implausible and ridiculous excuse for not turning up!
Then to add insult to injury they always lamely reply later, that when you’re next in the area let’s meet up!
At the point I block them as being a T-Girl I’d have spent a few hours getting ready.
From 8 potential hotel meets this year just 2 actually turned up, which is why I only meet at venues and events, as you just turn up and enjoy yourself and have fun with those that are attending! |

Yes it happens to me last night. Messages for a while, arranged a meet. Kept them in the loop, i bathed, cleaned up, shaved, dressed, drove the campervan, pulled on to say I’m 20mins away-
Got to the post code - and they stopped opening my messages. I sent 4- he was still online- then he eventually opened them then blocked me. It’s like a 45 min drive also.
I’m close to deleting the app “again”!! Lol |

It's Christmas, I was being kind.
As others have said, stick to parties, clubs and organised social meets.
As you have no idea how many will show you can never be let down.
We love them.
