For those who are single and dating, I'm just curious. Are you dating outside of the 'scene' and will eventually leave if you find someone to be exclusive with? Or are you dating within the scene with the view to carry it on as a couple?  |

When I was on dating sites I found most of the guys were also on Fab but with vastly different wants/desires in their profiles.
I wasn't looking for a relationship when I met The Wandering Welshman on here in May last year but we kind of rolled into one and spent a wonderful year with him before he lost his fight with cancer in May this year. |

Open to dating outside of the scene, but not actively pursuing it... I'm open to options, all depends on the other person and strength of feeling. If I met someone I fell for and they wanted vanilla then I'd absolutely walk away from swinging. |

Mrs P here , I've left the site back 12 years ago for a relationship which was vanilla it was okay but I always wanted more,
The relationship broke down and I returned to the site and met Mr P
I could never go back to a vanilla life now I will always be a part of the swinging life its a part of me and at my age I won't settle for anything less |

Both, on the vanilla side im just being open about sexual preferences although harder to create the narrative/ start the discussion. Would be happy in a monogamous relationship but having left one perhaps thst is enough to say I wasn't...On here not closed to a relationship but having only had a swinger relationship once before and a long time ago I am quite out of practice and perhaps not sure if I would be as comfortable at an older age with sharing a partner. |

I met a guy on here & had a 12 year relationship, wasn't what either of us were looking for but it worked well. We reached a point where this wasn't for him any longer, he was younger wanting more from life. I've stayed & can't picture me finding anything like that again, I've learned to enjoy my single lifestyle X |

I've recently left a 5 year vanilla relationship as I felt I was suppressing part of who I was, now I'm not actively looking for a relationship but a regular playmate but I never say never but I think it would need to still be within the lifestyle even if just socially. |

Im on dating sites but will always hide my profile and leave here when I do, unless she is also into it. Had a few fantastic non scene dates with people who I later found out were on here.
Would love to meet someone in real life who would be open to it but happy with vanilla if Im happy in that relationship.

Having pushed the boundaries that most of us have, I find it very difficult to meet anyone outside of this scene with whom I have a meeting of minds who is not narrow minded and judgmental of the lifestyle, and can't handle my past sexual adventures. I'll only ever get involved in an LTR with someone who has explored the ecstatic pleasures of eroticism that are there for us all to enjoy. |

I was single for a long time, joined this site & met my partner who I've been with for nearly a year now. He's not swinging anymore but we still pop to Chams now and then and I'm purely looking for women to meet. He's 100% happy for me to meet women alone and wouldn't be involved in any of my meets.
It works really well for us this way  |

As nearly everyone on this site is a returning member I’m sure you’d all agree that this lifestyle is highly addictive. Everyone is in it for specific reasons & those reasons don’t usually fit in with vanilla life. I’ve gone from fab to vanilla & it really didn’t work. I’ve also gone from fab to a fab relationship & that didn’t work either, but let’s not get in to that. That said it’s the only way I see a future relationship working. Hope this is helpful |

I’m looking to date within the lifestyle and I’m on vanilla apps but I hint to the lifestyle on there. I have made so many friends that I wouldn’t have made without the lifestyle I don’t want to give that up. For now I’ll keep attending events and see where life takes me. |

A couple of months after joining here I met my partner via Fetl1fe. Our relationship is open/ENM . We don’t play as a couple atm as my time doesn’t allow for much in person socials or meets. Hopefully over time this will change. |
