"What did they do with AOR if you don't mind me asking?"
Acts were dropping like flies ( they have a bad reputation in the industry for not paying). Several bands advertised knew nothing about it.
Eventually they cancelled it, but as usual they never offer refunds. Everyone’s bookings were moved to this year. Completely different line up ( they amalgamated it with HRH Sleaze, changed the name of the weekend, even a different city. Moved it from Manchester to Leicester. Even with all this they would not refund.
Be very careful of these promoters, they have such a bad name, and they’ll never get another penny from me. |

I heard this from friends and know of others who’ve had issues with their events being cancelled or falsely advertised but from what I understand the Hard Rock Hell event itself is usually pretty good |

If they all show up!
In fairness the 3 headliners are all on tour and showing this date on the tour schedules.
Chic Festivals are based in Ibiza though, no UK office, and almost impossible to contact - unless they’re after your money.
All I’ll say is be very careful dealing with this company. |
