Is it just me or does the block button seem sometimes over used on here? I mean you send a pretty innocent message and next thing you get blocked? Just wondering on others thoughts?!

Fab needs to not show if someone deletes your conversation and then the block wouldn't be as heavily used.

Inboxes can get out of control for women and couples, especially if you're away for a few days.

When going through them all it's normally easier to delete convos that have clearly ignored preferences on profiles. Problem is with people seeing that you've deleted the conversation they can get really aggressive (and sometimes threatening) so sadly it's always safest to just block

GONE/TIMEOUT (No DMs please)

It is the easiest/cleanest way.

If someone is not interested, then they can block and you won't show in their "nearby" feed or searches.

It surprised me the first time I was blocked, but can be as simple as being blocked by a couple who are only looking for Bi women, which I'm not, so saves them forgetting and messaging me again down the line.

I block people that I know won’t work for me. Saves a lot of time and hassle and also saves being copy and pasted the same message again in 2 weeks time because you’ve a new photo and they’ve not read your profile.

I’m very clear I’m not interested in anyone who doesn’t take the time to use a profile photo or have any public photos. So if I see they’ve looked on my profile more than once I block them too. After being here a few months I’m now finding more of the better quality men that are here for swinging and not looking to date. So harsh as it might feel, it works for me.

Or a person doesn't read your profile, completely not a match followed by repeatedly messaging.

A lot of people use the block button as a filter system so people don't waste time messaging multiple time or get abuse for saying they're not interested

I've found I use the block button if after a while someone has read the message and not responded obviously not interested so no point in seeing the same profile come up , nothing personal

I try to answer most messages but I guess some women just get swamped , I say just stay positive
