So then who remembers way back in the day before the internet to meet fellow swingers to had to apply to a swinging club where they whould send you a magazine of cpls lady's and men looking to meet up there advert whould have a photo description and ref number you whould then write a letter enclose your photo with contact details you then wrote the address of the club on envelop along with the person ref number and they whould forward it on to the person you want too meet ....lot of you I suppose won't remember I'm going back to the 80s 90s guess I'm showing my swinging age now lol |

I remember the days of the back pages in forum, took bloody weeks to arrange something with letters & photos going through the post.
The only group social back then was in Birmingham once a month, we were all reliant on making links for parties from there.
Had some wild experiences & lots of travel back then, early 90's X |

We remember this, met a few people from a magazine and the yellow free ads. Had a letter back from a bi woman and she sent pictureds and my sister opened it in front of my mother and asked me who she was. Told her it was a mistake  |

Yes, and it was bloody hard work in those days as a single guy, and not cheap either with forwarding fees, cost of Polaroid pics, and then no guarantee of getting a result. The back pages of loot newspapers when working away from home was much better, but then you had premium rate phone calls to take into account. Also no means of posting verifications to prove that you can walk the walk as well as talk the talk. Today's younger swinging generation don't know they are born with the advantage of the internet. |

Well hello Bartender!!
Desire magazine and the like were slower to use, but without the internet to hide behind, most people were sincere about meeting up, and perhaps due to the effort involved there were far fewer timewasters, which seems to be a plague on swinging websites.
We met lots of really good people and had loads of fun. Was it really 30 years ?

Desire magazine and the like were slower to use, but without the internet to hide behind, most people were sincere about meeting up, and perhaps due to the effort involved there were far fewer timewasters, which seems to be a plague on swinging websites.
We met lots of really good people and had loads of fun. Was it really 30 years ?

Used to remember going dogging to meet couples and other TV’s before sites like this were common place.
Used to be very exciting especially on a Saturday night up at junction 18 (near Bristol) as some nights you’d have difficulty finding a parking space at 11 at night!
I’d have regulars I’d always meet up with and when you got to know people better there was a bit of a dogging community that would look out for each other as well as having special locations to meet at when uninvited admirers threatened to ruin the evenings fun!
