All over the place

Why guys?

Take it like a man and move on.

I've seen so many status updates from women about this shit it's really not on.

It also spoils it for the year I'd us.

If you sign up for fab please leave your ego at the door, you won't be for everyone, accept it move on and don't reply with crap!

The first time we chatted to a single man, I received abuse because I (very politely) turned him down. He called me a “horrible c***”!

To say I was shocked is an understatement. Nasty person and it understandably put us off. Keep being one of the good guys!

Absolutely ridiculous, mad how fragile the ego of some men is

Made me think he actually hated women and might be a violent person. I reported him, so hopefully he’s history!

It's the reason why I don't reply to messages now if its clear they havent read my profile. When I have said a polite "no thanks" their usual reply is "you're lucky I messaged you, you fat cunt" or call me a timewaster as I wont "fuck now"

Seems some boys think this is instashag. And when they get turned down they chuck their toys out of the pram. Spoils it for the genuine males. Can understand why women are wary.

This is exactly why I stopped replying with a polite ‘no thanks’, it’s easier to just not respond at all x

I only meet guys in group socials now unless they are an active participant of telegram groups I run/am in or go to the club and I've seen them there often

I no longer reply & just block, since when are we required to say a polite no when they can't even be bothered to read a simple few lines or even our header. There's no point reporting anyone, they sign up as someone else within minutes X

I'd like to think it's a minority who are this badly behaved, but I'm increasingly hearing and reading more and more stories like this

Such a shame, there's no need for it.

If the answer is a no or not interested, then a simple "thanks for letting me know and good luck finding what you want" is just good manners

There are still some courteous and polite subtle guys on here though!!

We’ve had it a few times. “well we are a better looking couple than you and you’re out of our league” lol which begs the question why you even chatted with us in the first place ……

To be fair we have not had abuse this time around since unblocking single guys. Most have been nice even when i said no thank you. Not all guys are bad on here but some destroy it for the genuinely good men on here.

This boils my blood!

Some men on here are absolute kids!

If a lady lets me down (which is often) I always reply with “No worries, enjoy fab” and I move on.

There is no way a man would speak down to a woman in real life, don’t do it here!

I just had one. They didn’t include a face pic in their first message to me (as per my profile) so I deleted without reading it. I then get another message back saying “think you all that but you ain’t” … I think the poor use of grammar offends me more.

I called a guy out on lies he told me. He sent me a death threat. (At least it seemed to be, but the spelling and grammar were atrocious)

Needless to say, reported and blocked.

This is why it's easier just to delete, and if they don't get the hint after 3 messages deleted then block

All the years Ive been on here and Ive very rarely got abuse. I dont often block either as lots think they are very clever and have other accounts that they think nobody knows about. They usually out themselves though lol.

Its an online site and people get brave behind a keyboard. If you do get abuse try not to let it get to you. They arent worth your time or your worry .

If I am fortunate enough to get a reply and it’s a no, I politely thank them for replying, wish them fun adventures and move on.

Life’s too short.

If you wouldn’t give the abuse in person, don’t be a total cock and hide behind a keyboard

The trouble this causes for us good ones is bonkers.

All single guys are then tarred with the same brush, and it becomes a hard stigma to shake off.

As the original poster said, your not going to be everyone's cup of tea, so take it like a man, move away politely, and stop spoiling it for the decent, respectful guys.

Some men think thire entitled to have / take what they want unfortunately no matter how brutal or nice you are to turning them down they will never change. Put it down to where they come from. I do however think that they should be named and shamed.

We have just been called ignorant for not responding to someone according to their timescale. Some people need a shot of reality, if work calls I am not going to say sorry person who pays me money I need to respond to someone I have never met (and now never will)!

I try to respond but if someone cant be bothered to read our profile then why should I waste my time responding?

Frustrating and unnecessary.

Dont be a douchebag, it isnt nice!

I have to be honest I often say at the end of a message if I’m not for you just block me, that way I won’t see them on the site and can’t message a second time although a number of ladies mass delete then I don’t know if they’ve read the message or not blocking me is not a problem that way I don’t waste their or my time ??

I think its an online thing , people can hide behind their keyboards , society is crumbling , back in the day men used to" excuse the phrase " chat up women ....humour charm etc

Sadly missing today , its character building to actually approach women face to face , and as part of that process accept rejection....

My advice date older guys ....but that mat be because I'm over 50 ha ha

Single women on here get an average of 60 messages A DAY!!! (Yes I have proof)

I try and be polite and reply saying, no or thanks,

But lads please make a bit of an effort, don’t expect a reply if you ask me to make a porno, no I don’t want to randomly come to your house, or Hi how are you? Or other random, one sentence questions??

Time is precious, I want quality!!!

Between here and over there

Have to agree. Sometimes no response is an enough of a response. I’ve been called vile names, fat CbOMB etc etc.

I just look at it like this : maturity level = ZERO.

Juat to clarify, as I have been called a white knight, looking to get on women's good books etc. And even had a few direct messages.

The purpose of this post isn't to get into anyone's pants just think some guys need to grow up.

We don't have a right to anything.

And couples/women who get abusive are just as bad

Naming and shaming will never work as people would use it against others who they dont like to be vindictive.

Neath valley.

We have gone back to filtering out single guys again after earlier where three guys starting having a go after not accepting a cold sent friend request. The third did not accept he was not what we were seeking as he was straight and started the abuse crap. We have now gone back to a block on single men messaging. It's sad people get stroppy when you politely say no thank you.

One reason ladies don't reply .If a lady replied saying no thanyou , its an open door for conversation that then leads to repeat messages and often abuse ,Sadly .I've seen this with my own eyes ,females have a choice in who and when they meet .
