The site has changed over the years, and now it seems the good "old fashoned" way of meeting people socially at events is the only thing to make sure you know what your getting. | |||

 . Love it when they trip themselves up on the forums and statuses. Even their profiles read pretty much the same . Supposed to be somewhere for fun not drama. | |||

Some things never change, we’ve all been caught at some point. I remember going back late 90s, between relationships, and I’d just started having a little bit of success using the ‘swingers chat’ phone lines where you’d dial up, listen to ads, leave a voice mail and if you were lucky they’d get back to you. Well, I say ‘a bit of success’, I’d met one female and one couple in around a year. Listened to one message of a very sexy voiced lady, part of a couple in Saundersfoot, sounded a good match so left a voicemail. Few days later had a call from ‘husband’, sounded really cool, spoke about what they were looking for a meet, what my experience was, he said he thought we’d be great and he’d get back to me once spoken to her. Next day he called, was I free Friday night to come to theirs? Oh yes I was. Arranged to meet in a pub in Saundersfoot, ring them when I got there so we would know who we were (remember all done over phone, no photos as pre smartphones etc). Texted them when leaving Neath, reply instant, along lines of ‘can’t wait to meet’. Got to the destination, rang them, straight to voicemail. Left a message. 15 minutes later, tried again. Straight to voicemail. Another 15 minutes, tried again, same outcome. Mightily pissed off, drive home, never heard from ‘them’ again | |||
