I've heard a few similar things that identify swingers but they always seemed unlikely to me; Pampas grass, ankle bracelets and the strange tying of an empty bag to your supermarket shopping trolley? |

Don't think any rules and quite possibly it is just an innocent pineapple and not a corrupted swinging one. I might make a passing comment "oh what a lovely fun necklace" and see if any reaction but nothing direct.
This year Tesco has been selling pineapple outdoor lights. No other fruit. Just pineapples which is very odd. Needless to say got some. |

The pineapple has definitely taken off as a sex positive symbol on tiktok. But then it's also on little kids pyjamas so *shrug*. It started out as a secret gay male symbol in the 1920s.
I feel like any swinger wearing something overt like a pineapple necklace or shirt will also be looking out for anyone noticing them. A bit of eye contact and a knowing wink or nod should be enough of a first move. If they look confused or uncomfortable, quickly move along |

If I saw someone wearing pineapple jewellery, I would be inclined to think it’s a distinct possibility that they are part of the swinging community.
I wouldn’t approach them in public and hint or ask though. Just a give a little knowing smile |

What about fab ice lolly wrappers in the window of vehicles as well as stickers of chameleons/ lizards on the vehicles. Had a lovely couple on our campsite recently with chameleon stickers front and rear of the motor home |
