I think people are reading a little too much into it.

It's banter, nothing more. I've had mates who are Cardiff fans.

Give me that banter over the typical false nationalist rubbish on display during international rugby weekends. I've taken my lad to local derbies without any hassle but some of the stuff coming out of the mouths of normally quite respectable people while watching the rugby was quite disturbing.

I suggest you actually go and watch them play before you make stupid comments like that.

How can a team that has only lost 6 games this season, conceded 2 goals in the last 8 games, are 11 points clear at the top of the league be lucky.

As all the top managers say the signs of a good team are when they can grind out results especially away from home playing on dire pitches as they have been recently.

Being from Cwmbran you can't be a Jack, Newport fan poss, plastic armchair supporter prob.

Certainly not dire being a City fan at the moment, am loving it, ALL teams have to grind results out sometimes if they want to win.

I know quite a few Man Utd fans who regularly go to watch them, and they say they have been not been playing all that well all season, yet keep getting the results and are top of the League, am sure Alex Ferguson is not bothered how they win as long as they do.

And do you class Swansea as a small club to, their crowds are less than Cardiff's, but despite the rivalry, I have far more respect for a Welsh person that watches Swansea than someone who watches footie from their armchair. At least they follow their local team.

And cut the crap Stag, Cardiff could be winning 5 - 0 every week and you would still criticise us, you just don't like us full stop.

Being Welsh does not come into it, it is proper football rivalry between Cardiff and Swansea nothing wrong with that.

If Man Utd are playing in a Champions League final against say Barcelona, do you think Liverpool fans would want Man Utd to win because they are both English, and vice versa, would they hell.

I'm more concerned about having 2 welsh clubs in premiership but how is it proper rivalry to want a English club to win over a welsh club? We ( Swansea) couldn't have won it so why not Cardiff?

We are 8 points clear of third place with a game in hand, will take that every time, calmness personified, every other club in the Championship would gladly swap places with us.

Should have scored a hatful last night, the wanky Wolverhampton Wanderers next on Sunday, they are going to kop it.

Did Orlandi actually do the swim away?

Lots of speculation that if you do go up, Malky will be paid off and someone like Mark Hughes will be brought in.

No he did not lol, he had a bit of banter off the fans about being a Jack, and he certainly enjoyed scoring, he was a bit wise about winding us too much I think.

As for Malky, he is our hero, certainly don't want Mark Hughes, very overrated manager.

a game in hand means nothing in the championship, we were there long enough to realise that. Cardiff do not want to lose form now as it would mean another year in the 2nd tier. This time of year is when teams start pushing hard, another defeat and the players will start looking over their shoulders and from what I've been told by people who go to games, it wont take much for the crowd to turn at the moment.

The last thing Cardiff want is to lose form and drop into the playoffs.

Can we play you every year? Four points for the second year running and second win at the Cardiff City stadium after the 3-1win last season.

Seriously though from the radio commentary we rode our luck a bit but that has happened so much to us this season where we have dominated teams but come away with a draw or defeat.

Hopefully this'll kick our season on and at the least make the play offs.

You look like nailed on champions btw.

As a Swans fan looking in on the Red's situation, this mornings news is a little alarming.

What do the Cardiff fans think? The proposed transfer pot has halved in a week, Tan is sitting there claiming Man Utd and Liverpool are massive in Asia because they play in red, completely ignoring the fact that those 2 teams are arguably 2 of the most successful teams in European football. Chelsea have a big following in Asia, they play in blue, Real Madrid are and they play in white. The colour makes no difference to popularity.

Looking at the championship games this season, admittedly I've not watched as much as I used to, it doesn't look as strong as it has been previously.

Any team coming up will need real strengthening.

Serious discussion only though, the trolls need not reply.

It's not a good time to lose form, dropping into the playoffs without form is a recipe for disaster. It's the teams with momentum at this time every season that do well.

And what about Watford losing at home to Blackpool last week, not playing well at mo nor are any of the top 5 sides, but we are still 6 points clear of 3rd place with a game in hand still, look forward to your comments when the season is over.

It's only really West Ham and Newcastle that have bounced straight back up, teams dropping out of the PL normally struggle.

nope as I've said many times that you're coming up. It's what you do when you're here that counts. I wouldn't put money on you staying up, especially considering your transfer pot has gone from £50m to £25m in only a few days, your owner has said you could be rebranded fully if you get promoted too.

I want our derby back.

Different league, as you'll find out IF you do eventually make it...only got to look at Reading this season to realise that. And, yes The Jacks are perfect, thanks for the compliment! we don't win every week, but then again, neither do Barcelona.

Good luck Brighton & Hove, hope you make it, you've got a good young manager in Gus Poyet there, and a team that likes to play football as it should be played. You'd be welcomed in the Premier.

Thanks. We've been nicknamed 'Swansea-lite'...playing in Barcelona-style.

Orlandi has fitted-in well and Painter has just been recalled from a loan at Bournemouth but don't expect him to be here next season. Dobbie has gone to Crystal Palace and tbh he didn't really fit in.

I'm hopeful for a playoff place and who knows?

Orlandi has done really well for you, i've spoken to him & he's loving it there, hes glad to get a run in the team & hes also scoring a few goals. Marcos is a good left back, he was our first choice, but he had an unlucky cruciate ligament injury around 4 years ago & lost his place. Dobbie is a surprise because hes a really good striker, but it never seems to work out for him wherever he goes, he scored some important goals for us in our promotion season, including a cracking goal at Wembley in the play off final. Good luck to the Seagulls, hope you can do it.

I'm hopeful for a playoff place and who knows?"

We were slow out of the blocks vs spurs but were the better side in the second half and a point away against Norwich who always play well against us is always a good result given we have nothing left to play hard for.

It's all relative mate, our season ended a few weeks back.

Poor sides leaving the PL this season and decent championship sides coming up. Any honest fan will admit that your division is not what it's been in recent seasons, you can only beat what's in front of you though.

Looks like you've done enough to secure the title though which is good as we will get our derby back and on yesterdays showing, we get an easy 6 points next season

Although we really shouldn't discuss football on here, those that don't appreciate it, don't understand the banter.

I think it is brilliant to have one welsh team in the premier and when City go up we will have two Welsh teams so all good innit cos am welsh first and support our teams second. After all football if you like the game it is enjoyable the highs and lows of the match but still gets ya blood pumping
