The Silurian has gone bust

For those that don't know, the Silurian hotel in Newport has gone bust. Anyone who booked it in preparation for the next Newport social will need to get a new booking somewhere.
It's very sad, that hotel has been a great destination for us swinger folk since it opened  |

As ShadeOfRage mentioned - we had an email saying they shut down, basically they don't have control of their website anymore.
If you book a room you won't get a confirmation for it, nothing will happen now. |

We were told last time we were there that they were closing  , the staff were hoping that someone would come and take over in last min. So sad love the place, looks like its back to the travelodge again then lol |

I was told by someone that the Travelodge is full of 'crack heads' and had gone downhill |

I just had an email from the Silurian, they are closed for now but hope to be open by this weekend under new ownership.. I’ve asked about my booking and it looks like it will all be ok by the time we all go to Newport  |

Newport social x 29th April for for Newport social I contacted through booking.com as the number in there google does not work xx

I called earlier, although it was a mobile number from Booking.com. Was a little sus but they said that they were still open. Number on their website is out of service so I guess it’s under new management. As long as we don’t have to find another hotel. |
