I try to keep them as neutral as possible for a few reasons:

1. So that the focus is on the subject and not my laundry basket

2. So people can't use the additional information to work out personal details

I once saw a letter stuck on a fridge door, clearly showing their address. I messaged to flag this up (politely trying to help them avoid grief) and got a load of abuse saying that I shouldn't be looking
