I currently have tickets. But with everything going on i am scared we are going to get pumped. Anyone else feeling like this? Who is there fornthe day? |

Seeing as the players are bound by the same employment rules as most other professionals, they will be breaking the law if they actually strike this way.
But they wouldn't be breaking any laws if they walked out on to the pitch in their kit and didn't compete.
That would be one hell of a statement and if England respected the gesture enough to only score a single penalty to win the match (because maybe they play-tackle each other for 80 minutes and do it in a way that can be interpreted as 'competitive') then that would be devastating to the WRU and the sport in general in the status quo and should instigate changes for the better.
If the match goes ahead at full throttle, then the omens will be bad for Wales. Would be far better for the sport if it goes the way I said above .

I do hope a message is delivered to the union.
I HOPE it's by striking on the pitch and England win by 150 points. That delivers an incredibly powerful, player-led message to the union and is likely both front and back page news of every paper.
I fear the message delivered will instead not be on the Welsh players' terms and just come as a 50 point pumping by those over the bridge. |
