One for the ladies (sorry gents).

I saw on the forum recently (but cannot find it now) about a medication from the doctors that can delay Mother Nature's monthly gift for holidays etc.

Does anyone have any experience of this and know the names please?

It makes my periods a bit heavier when the delayed one arrives x

I'm really heavy anyways so that's not a deal breaker for me.

Thanks ladies xx

Uptown Top Ranking

Try the bepi sponge. It absorbs flow and is undetectable when in use. Not sure what it would be like for a very heavy flow though. The monthly visitor hasn't been an issue for me for a very long time following surgery hope you find something manageable

Provera is an alternative to norethisterone. Both work equally well. Good luck.

I have bad reactions to the pill and the coil so doctors advised me not to have the injections or the implant. Im not being irresponsible, my body just doesn't react well.

You could alternatively try a menstrual disc (not cup!)? You can still play without it getting in the way

The Upside Down

You can just ask the doctor for it to delay you, you just start taking it before you are due and continue taking it daily. I’ve used it once when going on holiday.

I asked the doctor for norethisterone but she said she preferred provera. Will soon see if it works for me. Thanks for the advice ladies.
