I'm guessing it's generally a different experience for men receiving messages here, but in my experience the rather weird 'hey' or 'what you into' messages are sent by females and couples. Though my 'genuine profile' radar is working overtime when I receive them.
I've had a verified couple contact me twice asking me to go around theirs, whilst the wife is out and relieve myself in the matrimonial bed, whilst being shown pictures of her

Single word responses, or worse - half word responses. like 'ye'...
Worse than that, txt spk rspns...
It takes less effort to block someone. Would rather that than a half arsed response.
If there's genuine interest, would prefer they put some effort in... I always try to. (Although, if a bio is bare, I haven't got much to work with. So the copy paste is all they get)
But when it comes to them making initial contact, I really don't mind what they send.
Some people are shy/nervous, so I'm happy to take it very slow and easy. Besides, I'm a single guy... I'm just delighted someone messaged me lol |

those who message without reading the profile, those who open with "lets fuck" or anything similar. Those who send a friend request without any form of conversation because they have not read the profile. they all just get blocked immediately. |

This! I've received many a message where I have serious doubts that the wife even exists.
