Same old ccfc crap, biggest, best club in Wales, how many PL games have you played, how many times are you going to be top without going up. Bubble ain't burst yet but will do, I as a supporter of Wales only premier league team am hoping you come up as we will be able to show the gulf in class between us and our red neighbours. Yes thats true getting lucky point at bottom of table Reading, god we were well impressed.Mind you, you can only dream of our support and catchment area of all South Wales |

Just because Man City won the league last year does not make them a bigger club than Man Utd and they never will be.
In my view ,the same principle applies to the Bluebirds and the Jacks, we are the Capital City of Wales and have a far larger catchment area for fans.
Granted at present the Jacks have a better team, can't argue with that, but we are catching up with you fast.
The days of choking are gone, Malky is our hero. |

Martinez and Rodgers played a massive part in getting Swansea to where they are today, top top managers. As a Cardiff fan would love a return of the welsh derbys, and in premier league would be unreal!! Can say what you want though, there's 7 or 8players in the squad that would walk in to some premiership sides! |

"Why you reading it then"
Because it was new and may have been interesting, besides you seem to have missed the tongue in cheek "BAH HUMBUG"
SOme have no sense of humour, others no sense of banter we have both and hope you enjoy the swinging as much as you do football.
BTW, Bluebirds all the way having been a supporter for years and coached a small village team of whom a few have had trials for the Juniors.
Happy New Year and lets hope we can make the Prem next season. |

"Do our neighbours in the west wish us good luck in the new year"
Probably about as much luck as you would wish them. As a Welshman, I can't understand the bitter animosity between Cardiff and Swansea fans, the rivalry and banter between Liverpool and Everton has always been friendly. But the Cardiff/Swansea fans relationship can only be described as bitter hatred, not an attractive attribute......and don't tell me it's just banter, I have met supporter from both camps and banter it most certainly is not, it is shameful. |

And what about Celtic/Rangers, Man Utd/Man City, Midlands derbies, Newcastle/Sunderland, countless others, are they friendly too, don't think so.
And Liverpool, bunch of bloody hypocrites, they make themselves out to be angels, far from it remember Heysel. |

"As a Swansea fan I wish our neighbours all the best. As long as we are both beating English teams I am happy!"
lol even if a tad discriminatory against the English and I am season ticket holder for many a year with City |

Indeed but of that bitterness extends beyond Wales though funcouple as mandyshandy has pointed out...plus sheffield and Nottingham..in London too..Arsenal (pre happy clappy days) and Tottenham...Millwall and, well anyone I spose!!...but in particular, West Ham
Its tribal thats all...even outside football theres bitter animosity between villages and towns that are two miles apart down here..cities just take it to a bigger scale..Valley boys vs city boys, Town boys vs hambones etc etc..
Scholars have tried to analyse all this over the years, especially football related agro...University studies have been carried out, papers written..(and probably a lot of money wasted in the process!) but at the end of the day young blokes like to fight, throw a bit of booze and a football crowd in to smooth along the process a little more..and thats it, end of..its gone on for decades and probably will..Teds Vs greasers, Mods, Vs rockers, punks Vs skins...
'Forget your thesis professor..this is the real deal'...
Strange thing though...all the rivalries and long standing feuds..when Wales play England, (or England played anyone!!)..they are all forgotten..and supporters 'become one'
In a stark similarity to what happened in the riots last year when group of football supporters took it upon themselves to stop the riots 'their way'...there were mixed groups of football supports in south and east London..no one cared about rivalries..
The police knew full well that these supporters wouldn't run in the opposite direction when confronted by the rioters..(and more importantly..so did the rioters!!)..they wouldnt be hanging around waiting for riot shields and helmets before they got stuck in either..and the police were fairly powerless to stop them.
Similar thing happened in Wootten Bassett when football supporters turned up from various parts of the south west..and even Cardiff to ahem, 'discourage' Mr Choudry and his followers from staging a protest..luckily the police turned him around beforehand or that would have ended up in carnage..
Football supporters have what many might consider a strange set of whats right and wrong..and what the 'right thing to do is'...but don't over analyse it..
Funny ol world isnt it.. |

well as i said am a staunch supporter of the City and will admit freely that they feck it up every time God knows why, cos i dont. But I must admit Swansea are holding their own and doing well. Good luck to them. The bitterness started cos Swansea was only a town and Cardiff was a City it had nowt to do with footie and it stupid for them to be enemies pecially as Swansea is a City as well lol. Good luck to Swansea and lets hope my boys dont cock up xxxxxCat |

Heysel was a horrible tragedy I was there as I was at Hillsborough.....both Terrible days that could have been avoided by better grounds and policing....the season before we played Roma at their ground in the final of the European cup we beat them on penalties after the game over 40... Liverpool fans were taken to hospital with stab wounds......these fans weren't scallies looking for trouble but like most decent fans they were dads and lads....Heysel was caused by Knobheads out for revenge.....there was no trouble outside the ground and inside only chicken wire Seperated the fans There were chunks of stones from the crumbling Terraces that started getting thrown at the juve fans then Liverpool fans chased The Italian fans and a wall collapsed and sadly those fans died.....how does that make Liverpool fans hypocrites......we are ashamed what happend at Heysel....read the reports About roma 84. And Heysel 85.....by the way Heysel was condemned and knocked down and rebuilt....by UEFA.....Im not defending our fans but Dont make us out to be hypocrites.....
I have sat next to Man U fans and Everton fans in the past and never felt as uncomfortable as I did at Wembley with the Cardiff fans......and then they started singing Hillsborough songs.... |

You are correct some mindless gobshites do sing Munich songs even now at Anfield I have even seen people fighting over it...every tean has gobshite fans.....my tickets were laid on by CCFC...who have always been my second team since we bought the mighty john thoshack off them.........i have mates who follow ccfc wh6 I got tickets for when you played at Anfield in our main stand he had a great time and great banter with the LFC fans....... I actually went. To stewards and got moved prior to kick off.I had no colour on and was sat with families...it was the odd gobshite as I say.....jus. like my man u friends who like decent people know were to draw the line....... I was gobsmacked to be told tha. Fans sing about the aberfan.disaster to Shocking that people make light of any innocent people dying........but every team have a gobshite element...... |

I think you will find that the wall collapsed in heysel as the stadium was sub standard. yes there was crowd trouble but if the stand was solid then the people underneath would not have died.

We had a shit manager then in Dave Jones, we don't now, Malky has been here 18 months, taken us to a cup final in his first season, lost on penalties to Liverpool, and looks like promotion is on the cards.
As a matter of curiosity Mr Player when did Spurs last get to a cup final, the days of Gazza, me thinks, correct me if I am wrong.
From an outsider I credit Martinez myself for starting the ball rolling at the Jacks, Rodgers just carried it on, what do you Jacks think. |

I like Nigel Pearson, in his interviews he comes across well, would like them to be second behind the bluebirds, as long as Palace aren't there and that **** Ian Holloway. |

"Cardiff City : boring, 1-0 win, anti-football, uninspiring, non-team - since you asked. Friendly club though.
"
Second highest scorers in the division, 4 - 1 win away to Blackburn the other week, you call that boring and uninspiring, have you actually been down to watch them play, or are you one of these armchair Premiership supporters. |

Not this year they won't, totally different set up, previously they have not had a big enough squad and run out of steam just when it mattered most, now everything is in place as well as a certain Mr Bellamy driving them on. |

They are the nearest but we have no reason to dislike them. On league position and recent history its Liverpool. Once you guys get your asses up it all changes back.
Don't think it'll be an easy ride though, every mistake gets punished in the PL |

"Thats true and its more local for you to play us"
As long as you behave yourselves.
Interested to hear your thoughts on any strengthening need? Making wholesale changes doesn't work which has shown recently.
Maybe a marquee signing like the overrated Ramsey (never the same after the injury).
Continuity is the key, we have only ever improved on players and managers we've lost instead of replacing players still there.
Clubs need to look at QPR and do the opposite. |
