Hi all
Christmas can be a terrible time. Lonely, cold, hungry, embarrassing, frightening. If you are in trouble, especially with kids, talk to us all. Chatting really does help even if you think it won't. We are here xx G and N |

Same here. Get your gas meter working to heat you up. Please please please don't jump on me for offering bribes for sex. Its Christmas and families have no fucking heat. I can't stand that thought. Makes me ashamed to be British. If I can help I will. |

Christmas can be a hard time for many people, this is my first on my own for 13 year. My choice in a way as I've been invited round places for dinner...... But it woukd t be with my boys, and my boys are Christmas to me. These forums have helped take my mind off it but ultimately I've woken you today to an empty house. |

I find Christmas time torture personally with personal circumstances I go through so I totally have so much feelings and understanding for those in similar boat just hope they get through it more comfortably than I do. Only time of year I get down I’m as energetic and full of banter/crazy the rest of year. Love and thoughts x |

I think next Christmas I am going to do something a bit more tangible about this. I t was not planned out at all, I just felt the need to reach out. I believe there are a lot of good honest decent people. I know for a fact that we have members who have literally nothing and desperately need help. A lot are too embarrassed to even say so they will sit in silence and suffer. I know today has been hard for many and tomorrow won't feel much better. I have chatted to a few people today and hope I made them feel better.
Don't stop now. Reach out for help, people will help you. Nobody need ever know. You deserve better than what your getting. Love to all xx Neil |

I help out with the local food share, even though my work involves a caring aspect, I get great reward from doing things for others in my own time. So I've managed to get a lot of food to people this year X |

So this has been my first Christmas being single since 2001.
Due to ongoing family disputes (long story) I've spent it all alone, apart from my dogs.
Nothing ever prepares you for lonliness. |
