Wales will finish second then realistically go on to play the Netherlands, who are hit and miss in knockout games so quarter finals is a reasonable prediction...  |

It's a bit of a fairy tail to expect Bale and Ramsey to keep cutting it against the best I think. Football is full of stories though. The rest of the squad are a decent team, but there are some fantastic teams around atm - and all with much better squads alas.
One thing I would say is that Wales might have less of the Qatar blues (if that is or becomes a thing), as the whole trip is such a huge deal to them. Of course the Middle Eastern teams like Iran could be dangerous because of this too. -pt |
