The problem with no boundaries is that you can never be sure what the other person is into, without a lot of communication.
I've seen some people get seriously hurt playing without limits or boundaries. Had to physically remove heavy floggers from 2 females at club who were pissed out of thier brains, beating the shit out of a male sub. They had him tied up too tight, were hitting genital, neck and kidney areas. Guy was screaming for them to stop. They didn't.
Turned out they clearly didn't have a clue about safe BDSM. Just bought a few latex dresses and some floggers to 'look the part, and get guys to buy them drinks'. He told them no limits without any discussion. No safe words established etc etc.
Fortunately he came out of it with no long term damage. Some heavy bruising swelling, trapped nerve in arm and a lot of unpleasant pain.
A few cm further across and they could have ruptured a testes.
And yes, I have permission from this sub to relay this story.

So please everyone. Telling someone ' no limits or no boundaries' doesn't make you look a better sub or a more hardcore Dom/me etc.
Quite the opposite. It makes you look clueless or dangerous.
Telling someone that you are new, unsure what your boundaries and limits will be, and be open to communication will get you far more positive attention. We were all new once,. We've all had to learn things with time and genuine and experienced players will understand and respect that. |

Thank god, there are people who understand the importance of boundaries and the rules around this. Fully agree this would be a big red flag for us if a sub asked to join us saying that. I do think these forums are great to prevent people getting hurt. |
