So I was surprised by the response I had on my previous thread so thought id give it a go to see how much interest this might actually get. Hopefully this could turn into a regular social.
Firstly, the venue is a PUBLIC venue and will be showing the film to the general public. You will be watching at the same time, and are expected to pay normal admission price. So NO playing what so ever will be accepted.
After the film we should be able to go to a local pub for the social part of the evening.
There is a premier inn nearby so people can take the playing back there or stay the night as they see fit.
The cinema only shows 1 film a week. It is a small independent cinema run by a small group of volunteers. It is really struggling to stay open, so would be nice to give it some extra custom.
The films for November are
"Mrs Harris goes to Paris" (4th Nov)
"Juniper" (11th Nov)
"The lost King" (18th Nov)
"Lyle, Lyle crocodile" (25th Nov)
Please let me know which you would prefer. After I know which os the most popular I will see jf I cab book a room in the nearby pub and if so I will post a formal social meet up |
