"We never pay any attention to winks. If the 'winker' was really interested they would send a message.
"
We tend to use it as a way to see if people are interested, if not then it avoids any awkward chat |

Much prefer a wink before a message. Most messages are from people who haven't read our profile so are ignored. With a wink we can check out the profile to see if we are interested. |

Forum is the best way to start chatting to peeps, the message way can be a bit forward and overwhelming if your popular/ a woman. The wink is a nice neutral way of showing interest but I see how if they don’t respond to your reply it could be irritating, but, at least you get the measure of their interest in you. |

I’ve started sending winks as the vast majority of my messages I send don’t get replied to,if I receive a wink I’ll always repond ,the last woman that winked at me I met a couple of days later & we had a great evening,so winks can be worth while. |

Most of my meets are via winks, I keep my filters tight to show down the ndola from guys who clearly don't read the profile & I actively seek what I like & will wink. If I receive a wink I'll look at the profile & if I think it fits what I'm looking for I'll message or wink back X |

This, a mutual wink leads to a message and then go from there. Its how I got several meets on my previous profile |

I like the wink too. Don't want to keep messaging people that might not be interested. They can wink back or message if they are interested then. |

I always respond to winks as it's a sign of obvious interest, and the ensuing get togethers that started with a wink have led to some fantastic friendships, but I do get why women and couples with their in boxes brimming with fan mail don't always respond to winks as they would never get the time to answer them all. |

I only send a wink if I'm really really interested. The reason I dont message is because couples and single females get inundated by men. I don't want to be one of those pests that puts them off Fab |

"We do use the and like the wink and if wink back a message will be sent if we wink first but we not send if profile empty we look at overall profile not just pics "
Quality over quantity
If people take the time to talk that can be alot hotter then looks.

".... Then you message, its 2 days later and they proceed to never read the message and were online 17 mins ago.
Why?
Don't waste my time" I know some people have a lot of messages on here and they bulk delete so it could just be your message got lost in amongst all that.
Winks come be a great way to show someone your interested we are useless with winks tho we keep forgetting to check them . |

A wink, or fabbing a photo, is a bit like catching someone's eye in a bar. If they are busy or not interested then you won't get a response back.
Of course if you don't like a wink as an opening gambit that is fine, just ignore them.

We wink if we're interested and if others reciprocate, great, and vice versa.
Sometimes we'll read a message, then mark unread so the other half can read it also, make sure we're both up for it, and reply. Hence the latency. All for the best.
