Hi all!
Maybe not the place to ask, but i figure i'll get some much more honest suggestions here, rather than a "tourist" site.
What would you suggest for a first time visitor to Cardiff? Tourist attractions, good places to eat, pubs, sights...
Looking for the "hidden gems", places that locals know but tour guides tend to leave out.
thanks in advance for all suggestions |

You have to do the castle..
A roman settlement
A Norman keep
And pure unadulterated victorian opulence International design...built on backs of low wages of the coal industry...it also has link with Scotland...
If you do go for the guided tour to see ALL THE ROOMS.
Talking of rooms if per chance you're staying in the radison ask for an East facing room...you may get lucky with what goes on in the apartments the rooms on that side overlook.
If you're a rugby loving scot..then there's the Welsh mecca....the principality stadium. And a pint in the old arcade one of the best known rugby bars in the centre, though it may not be what it used to be.. |

Not much into rugby, but I will visit the Principality stadium for the WWE event held there. |
