Getting tested - how often?

As sexually active adults, it makes sense for us to get tested for STIs regularly, no matter how safe we play. How regularly, though? I tend to do it every two months.

Me too. Even though I always play safe and never BB I still get tested.

Yes, but how often? If we're active, swingers are technically a higher risk than the average person. I was interested to know how often others did it.

Every two to three months for us depending on how often we have meets, so important! Home testing kits from Frisky Wales have been great

Every 2 months normally, if I have a lucky patch then it's once a month.

I concour in regards to the results and it's hassle free. It's quite a simple process and there is no excuse not to get tested.

Every 2 months usually although I only play safe it's good to be careful. Frisky wales are brilliant

Used to be every 3 month, then 2, but as being more active recently it’s monthly - which is only possible thanks to friskywales!

I play safe as I'm paranoid about getting them so I do it every month/6weeks as it can take a few weeks for things to be detected in tests. With frisky Wales it only takes 20mins to do the test. Also you can order a test and keep it at home for a bit before using it for convenience.

Every 6 weeks seems a good middle ground for me. Depends how often I'm intimate but I do wear my rain coat so it's more just to be responsible than out of fear.

I found I could not get enough blood to complete the test.
