Avoid the city centre it’s not up to much . Plenty of beaches to explore and the Gower.

You should definitely head down to Mumbles and the Gower peninsula so many beautiful beaches down that way.

The wine street has some great bars and clubs .

Port Talbot

There's a beach within walking distance of the city centre. Plus many more if you've got transport. Also decent waterfront and marina to walk around.
