Just wondering, how many people, actually talk about contraception prior to engaging in activity?? If you are going/have been bareback (god forbid) with someone. Do men ask if the female is on the pill/coil/injection or do you as a female tell said male prior to engaging??
This came up in conversation with a friend of mine.. and he just assumed that the person he was seeing at the time was on the pill, it didn't occur to him to ask, could have been a messy situation lol |

Always use condoms regardless of her being on the pill or using other methods - safer all round.
For me personally, I've only ever not used anything in committed, long term relationships.

I know several men above fallen foul of this one, so at a guess I'd say they don't see it as their problem. I'm too old to talk to talk contraception, but I do talk safety X |

Not a problem as far as I'm concerned as all the women I've met lately have been well past child bearing age,though always assume I'll be using a condom anyway. |

Me and my partner will always not use anything while together but rules are the guys will always use condoms with me and other half will always use condoms with other women.. plus we do get ourselves tested to be extra cautious x |

I've been on the pill for 7 years now but always make sure to use a rubber. Yes I know it's unlikely I'd get pregnant anyways but there's far scarier things out there that need to be protected from!
That being said if I'm seeing someone regularly and we are exclusive in terms of going Bareback that can be very fun, but trust must be built for this to happen, would never just do it off the cuff - as those of you who've seen me throwing condoms round chams will know!  |

It's a conversation that you need to have before the meet, and should never be assumed. Personally I hate the feel of condoms and prefer bareback, but not with any anyone.
It's probably a good place to remind everyone of the service provided by Frisky Wales, the free test and post STI check you can do at home. Worth doing periodically, even if you use condoms |

I reckon they get a lot of regular custom from this site, I do one every month even if its only my mouth I've used. But like you I do prefer BB fun & will indulge in that if I know I've got a long enough break in fun coming up to go through the testing process before getting back out there. I'll often take a break of a month or so X |
