Personally I think no we shouldn’t.
One persons perception of a “ time waster” will differ greatly from another’s.
What constitutes a time waster?
Someone who chats for a while and then loses interest, then ghosts?
Arranges a meet and is a no show?
Someone who chats and then life gets in the way so they have to take a break?
Just some examples of what could be considered a time waster.
Naming and shaming isn’t the way forward.
Just report the no shows, perceived time wasters and move on.
Don’t let it get you down and lash out by naming and shaming I say.
Make love not war

Granted that’s an extreme example and undoubtedly has happened to some people.
Highly frustrating and inconvenient but all we can do is report and move on.
My point is, if there’s a public list it’ll expose all members to potential abuse or ostracisation. The reasons for them being named may or may not be justified.

I just think there are 2 sides to every story and anyone can label anyone a time waster out of spite if they want to, so as a site tool it would be totally useless |

No, that would not end well, as frustrating as it is.
Just deal with them as you do with all the other time waters in our lives, ignore and avoid, if you can. Here it's at least easier than with work or family. |

That would be an awful thing, sorry if it happened to you.
I'm sure this isn't you, but what if the guy turned up and as he approached the house the other person could see he was 20 years older, completely different body shape and dressed in shitty clothing? I think a few people wouldn't answer the door.
In that instance perhaps they shouldn't be called out for doing it?

Where does it end though? A ban from the website? No problem, just set up with another email address. It won’t solve anything g. As others have said, just report and move on. There a block function to enjoy using as well. Someone annoyed you? Block them and get on with your life. |

Well said, then again it works the other way too.
For example, someone messaged me out of the blue asking for a meet there and then.
When I replied saying I was going to work and wasn't looking to meet until next week, I was told to fuck off, called a time waster and blocked lol.
All because I didn't fit their Time schedule. |
