Me and the wife tried to go there 2 times but couldn't find it.
We parked the car at the national nature reserv car park and we went through a path on the right of the building and we walked walked till we see some sort of dunes and on the top of the dunes we only saw green everywhere and the sea very far so we end up quiting and go back as we were carrying quite a few stuff with us.
We will problably try again next Monday or Tuesday but with less stuff in our backs |

If your coming from the reserve car park head to the beach and then walk west (towards the steel works) its near the ship wreck. You should start to see bigger sand dunes and that’s the area. You can also park at the church next to the angel inn and take the costal paths through the dunes but slightly harder that way. Keep to the costal path sign posts of going that way. Hope this helps and take plenty of cream for them white bits |

That is the problem -it is a good walk whichever way you go....Best part of 45mins as its largely over sand so not the easiest of walks.
Once you get over the dunes there is a good hard-core track running parallel to the beach which is much easier going if you want to go further along.
Check it out on Google maps using the satellite View to give you an idea where you are trying to get to (somewhere near where the wreck is marked). |

On three occasions last week I tried different routes.
First one was the track from angel inn pub
Second was main car park nature reserve
And finally the gravel carpark route.
This way is almost flat most of the way. Follow the sign post for the horse track you'll soon see the white markers on the other post directing you. Good luck hopefully see some of you there some day.
