There seems to be numerous socials being organised locally most of which require a verification before you can attend also one’s targeted at specific groups I.e female only or BBW events and whilst I qualify to attend all I choose not to as a single fem as it’s quite daunting on your own especially at my time of life …at the end of the day who’s going to be interested in me when there are much better options in the offering lol.
There used to be a Singles social which was a great way of getting that passport verification and was a good way for singles to get to know people in a safe environment.
I’ve done digging around this option and have a few irons in the fire but just interested to know who would be up for it as a starter

The only social I know of they requires a verification is Newport.
Swansea, Cardiff, Bridgend are regular well attended socials which don’t require verification.
The BBW night at Chams is attended by a vast mixture of people and in my opinion always a high number of single women who are very welcoming and other women offer to meet newbies outside to welcome them in and make it less daunting.
As a single female a singles only social would be a far more daunting experience for me as single males on here atm don’t seem to behave in the most desirable way.
On the other hand. I’d only attend a social organised by people well established within the swing community. |

I agree with this. Also, to be of the opinion that people wouldn’t be interested in you with more or better to offer…. isn’t that the case for everyone everywhere whatever? Whether a club or a big organised social with mix of people or a singles social. Have confidence in yourself x |

I used to enjoy the singles' social. It was a great way to meet other single people on neutral territory. We would often go on to chams afterwards. I didn't envy the people who organised it though, as people would put their names on the list and then not turn up. A lot of hard work for all organisers of social events  |
