Went to an all boys grammar school
End of 2nd year became a comprehensive...
Half the year was moved across the road to what previously had been the all girls grammar...becoming the oldest lads in the school as 3rd years...all girls 4th and 5th years..
Opposite across the road where 3rd year girls were the oldest with 4th and 5th years all boys..
None of this year 10 or year 11 in those days |

Think I was the second year that didn't sit the 11+ as the year above me all went to Bryn offs comp as well, and my brother sat it and he is 2 years older than me.
Because my birthday is in September I missed going that first year they didn't sit it |
