Well the fuck n go has its place and uses. Even if i was seeing a fwb regularly thered still be the odd occasion for it. But it would be nice to be mates with someone. Getting a conversion started is the first hurdle.

I totally agree, there is a place for fuck n go, but it isn't that satisfying as the only option if your looking to get into a naughty friendship, that's more the here n now in between kind of thing. FWB aren't meant to be exclusive, the clues in the name but some guys seem to think FWB = tied down, if only they knew me & my lifestyle view

Don’t feel intimidated by it. Socials are by far the best way to get the most out of fab and they’re always fun. Newport one is a good one to go to. There’s usually 150-200 at that one. Check the forum if you are interested. If you do feel a bit adventurous you can always swing by Greenhouse afterwards for a club trip experience.

I get where you're coming from PQ although I have been enjoying all the numerous benefits of the fwb situation.

Most if not all of my friends are married so it's good to have someone to go to the cinema with, eat food with so its not such a solitary act, and yes really good to have someone on the sofa with me, not really doing much other than enjoying the company. I get on well with her so it just feels natural at this point.

Good to see you back, hopefully you will be doing the odd social as it would be good to see you out and about again

We rather enjoined the nights out,dinning out, cooking at home/theirs as well as play time. That side of things worked for us. Everyone enjoys different aspects of of the non monogram lifestyle.

Finding an fwb again would be fun.

The fascinating thing about this site is all the strange things that happen, in our search for a friend for Jojo. You have men presenting themselves as single, but when pressed they are in a relationship, but it won’t ever be a problem. The female half of a couple messaging to say her man is available…. But mysteriously she is always unavailable to chat lol. Then of course you have to then throw into the mix, maybe she doesn’t fancy them…. and it is very difficult.

I have been around the scene for a few years and know some absolutely lovely blokes, women and couples. She is relatively new to all this but the struggle is real lol. Like others may have said socials are probably the best way to go, assuming you can make them and have the confidence to go!

Only my observations and not suggesting others might have experienced the same, peace and love

Totally agree with you mate. I've met many people (your good self inclded) and known I'd be be friends no problem. The Internet unfortunately is no where near as good as meeting someone face to face and realising you both compatible in what ever form you're both looking for.

Socials are the way forward for us gentlemen. Its the best way to display what we can offer. Anyway I'm d*unk and this is to philosophical, so I'll say no da all.

One interesting thing is that so many people are saying they want an FWB. Singular, rather than various friends they see when both are free. It's making me wonder if what some people are after isn't a relationship without the responsibility, and whether there might not be jealousy issues coming into it if they do end up with an FWB?

I think people definitions of FWB, has a different meaning and not so much of the understanding of fwb. Communication is key and understaing the fundamentals what both parties objectives are of fwb.

If both parties agreed to have other fwb, then it's fine. If not and just prefer one to one, that's fine to.

I thought that I'd hit the jackpot when I was seeing someone from West Sussex for twenty one month's, but guess what? The words "Lurve" and "Getting engaged" and "I could always relocate," started to come into the conversation, and that killed it stone dead.

Apart from everything else I've got going down, I'm also my mum's carer. When twice I had home baking brought round unannounced for my mum, and in one extreme case I had hand knitted jumpers and scarves made for my mum, coupled with the comments, "I was thinking that if you cleared some space in a wardrobe, I could bring some clothes with me, and stay over to help you with your mum." Falling in love didn't happen for us either, it wasn't what either of us wanted from day one but we became the closest of friends who liked to share not only our couple swinging, but sometimes our single experiences and real life stuff. We were simply best friends who liked to fuck and be naughty at times. I still hold out some hope he'll return to swinging but for now, he needs space X
