I have chatted to a couple on here and when it came to organise the meet they tild me how much it would cost and it wasnt for the hotel either, so there are a few on here who are in it for the money I am thinking. I just said thanks but not for me. |

The sites simple to use the way you want, say no, report if you feel you can be bothered & block. So long as you've got guys constantly offering 'gifts' etc for meets its never going to change. A guy offered me bedding the other day, gutted because none of it was in a colour I wanted X |

Over the last month or so I’ve been asked for payment 4 times - up to £250!!!
I know times are hard, but this isn’t what fab is about, yet despite my reporting each incident these individuals are still here.
It’s bad enough dealing with all the timewasters and dreamers, but enough’s enough.
Maybe time to leave. |

Surely it's easier to simply decline politely and move on.
We have given money to a lady on here who did the same to us. Her situation was dreadful, and she was in real genuine hard times.
We did not engage with her sexually, but we were delighted to help her.
So please don't immediately condemn as someone could be in the most desperate of circumstances |

Prostitution (and it is just silly to call it anything else as it's no less or more) does happen in desperate circumstances obviously, above anything this thread is about chancers anyway, and how Fab is obviously no place for them. Why?
Because this is ALL illegal, it effects Fab, it's a downer on the members, and the police WILL BE on here at times (they've just made huge done a bust of 100 ppl in Newport for sexual exploitation that WILL include pimping) - please DON'T be so blase about this.-- |

I think it depends on the admin that picks it up. I've seen a few been removed quite quickly after a posts been put up and others that just get away with it. |

--Honestly, I'd report all 3 (despite being off Fab, Fab can still take a record of it).
It looks like this is quite bad in Wales at the moment, and it's not going to be good for us ultimately - people on here will just get pissed off with it.

Never tried to get money out of anyone but been offered money loads? Kind of offended - I think… why would people offer money for something we’re offering up for free. That’s an easy way to get blocked if you start talking money. Go to an escort website if that’s what you’re after :p |

For me this is a controversial subject, and a conversation subject with people face to face for ethical debate rather than forum debates with people I'm unlikely to meet (and therefore cannot care about)....
Yes it is a breach of the Site Rules for payments of any kind (material, financial or influencial) to be solicited or offered by members and their profiles.
I can completely understand why, not just from a legal perspective but all the moral one also.
But here is the thing. I know a few people who would meet other people as the site wishes, purely for the hell of it and because it is just fun - a mutual exchange of pleasure. But these people would have no problem taking additional gratuities if they were given freely (or had been invited to) and had never been considered before they met the benifactor.
As in (for example) : A woman would have happily fucked someone anyway just because she was in the mood or thought he was hot 'for free'. But if he chose to give her gifts or other options (like a night out or a meal in a restaurant) then why should she be penalised or judged? She got hers anyway, as did he presumably to feel generous, so what's the issue? Clearly not a legal one, more of the fact that maybe he should go have a chat with a professional about his need to 'pay' for something that was always available because she liked him..... 
(And yes I am completely aware that I have assumed the Approached and Approacher's gender identity and so could be called mysoginist for that. But on the balance of probability, ladies are likely to be the ones who fuck for free and enjoy themselves plus get offered stuff and then banned from Fab, than gents. I am aware that it happens vice versa too, just less so ). |

---I don't understand where the controversy is here - you are simply talking about two entirely different things. And who has got banned from here by accepting gifts of friendship anyway? It's all a bit fanciful this. But outright prostitution is just that (however someone might 'need the money', as came up before). Prostitution happens in life, but it CAN'T happen on Fab. --- |

Because you call them as 'Gifts of Friendship' which others might call 'payment in kind' for sexual benefits, either of which definition break the Site Rules.

---I think you are being waayy too fanciful! Are you seriously saying that this even often happens? Not a 'variety of other things' btw - this. I would say that it hardly happens at all, and IN ANY CASE, no way would Fab 'condemn the woman'! They would see it as the woman NOT asking for payment up front - and therefore the incident as NOT being as case of clear prostitution! End of. They won't need to listen to stories.
I would hope they would not take the accusatory nature lightly either (ie would say in some way that you cannot just tell such stories). This place is nothing like the money-making racket some people think it is - the mostly-voluntary people here have much better things to do.
I would add that even IF fab did expect something could be amiss in stories of meets (ie it WAS actually prostitution and they suspected that), if they had no prior case they would most likely just point you towards the police at your own discretion. Without any proof within Fab its simply just a story. For someone to be banned from Fab this way a case needs to be built from data. So I think it IS worth reporting Whatsap incidents like the ones in this thread for that reason alone - to lay down potential future data. But I can't imagine that Fab will actually ask to see any off-Fab evidence, I imagine they will just reiterate the dangers of leaving Fab and point you to the police at your own discretion.---

All the admin need to do is read the updates on a daily basis and it is very clear who are the ones soliciting for money and it is becoming far more regular and 'normal' than it should be. |

They won't be able to follow Updates (which is only one avenue of soliciting of course) easily without help - here must be a million updates on the Fabs.

It can't happen unless they know about it.
