Hi dude, you’ll find male fun there all day but if you’re looking to meet couples, it starts at 6 and runs until late. The later it is the more lively things are in my experience!
"I’m in Cardiff that weekend and so thinking about going to the bi session on Saturday - I’ve never been before so could somebody give me an idea as to what sort of time is best to turn up?"

Turning people away is so extreme especially considering that on a few occasions lately i haven't even been asked to show one at all..
I was thinking it's just pot luck based on who happens to check you in but now i realise it isn't as it's even more hit and miss than that..regardless of who happens to be working the door |

If it's Michael on the door and he knows you, he remembers. Dave always asks, no matter how many times he's seen me. |

OK. That's slightly different to being turned away. You lost your patience. Dave is a sarky so and so, but it's never malicious. You could have let the six people through while you were trying. |

I agree with that..but even then it's been more hit and miss sometimes
I think it's more to do with being busy and distracted though in some cases..
But to be truthful i really don't care either way as it's hardly an inconvenience even in the long term.

All this talk of hit and miss regulations have put us right off from attending as I don't have a clue what the rules are and think we would just rather wait until its clear after reading comments

Depending on how busy they are, it may slip their mind to request to see the covid pass, and it's not often that actually happens! I've been going nearly every weekend since it re-opened in August, and have been asked a number of times even though they're all aware that I am fully vaccinated with the booster.
Your vaccination passes can either be the paper copy that you can have sent to you, the phone version on the NHS Covid app or your vaccination card that you received when you had your vaccinations.
If there is a large queue of people then they have the right to turn you away on the spot if you are asked to provide either, and have neither on you. They shouldn't have to provide you with LFT's on arrival, because that isn't their responsibility. They shouldn't have to supply them.
Simon - It may be worth calling up before arrival to see if they have LFT's available, as they may have ran out last Saturday. May be worth offering to bring your own and doing it infront of them.
I don't enjoy people badmouthing the staff at Chams/Greenhouse, when they're not at fault in this situation. It is OUR responsibility to be prepared when arriving at the club, if you have forgotten something then that is on YOU.
Please make sure you pack everything you need before leaving the house. If you have the NHS Covid app, simply take a screenshot on your phone of all the details, it will save the issue of trying to log onto the app when there is little signal within the corridor.
Sorry to sound so blunt, but with everything going on then you need to be fully prepared to be turned away if you do not have the correct paperwork with you when asked to show proof of vaccination. |

Thanks liz, I have LFT here and would more than happily take my own, as you said it isn't up to them to supply them and I for one wouldn't expect them too. Yes I think calling them on the day will be the best course if action, just wondered if anyone recently who's gone was able to gain entry through that method. Thanks for addressing me in your reply though as it is nice to get an answer on here. Take care, it's been a while and hopefully see you soon. X |

The time before last, I tried to use the proof of negative lateral flow and they said they not longer accept this. And I think that’s fair as it’s so easy to upload a false result. Luckily they did have tests there so I was able to do one in front of them.
Weekend before last I took my actual cards from when I had the vaccines and this was fine as proof. I think taking your own test to do when there is a good shout!!
I’m having issues with my digital QR code pass so I’ve now got a paper copy to keep with me if it’s needed x |

Your bluntness has actually helped so thankyou. I know now I can take my vaccine cards as i always have these on me as I'm clueless with the NHS app
