Well that was a shambles. Wales completely outplayed and only scored through and Irish error. Ireland invest in players WRU build a hotel. Anyone else see anything wrong with that? Welsh rugby needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom |

To be fair I wouldn’t be too disheartened…
Ireland are a class act and played some fantastic flowing rugby today -If you’re a fan you must have appreciated the rugby.
Fundamentally wales are a strong team

These type of posts always wind me up.
First of all we're missing some huge key players, alun wyn, Ken owens, North, navidi, faletau, tipuric, halfpenny, Cory Hill, Lydiate etc etc, so that was by no means our 1st team out there.
Secondly we're out in Dublin against an Irish side that's beaten the all blacks twice is as many years, Ireland are peaking right now and might go on to win the grandslam.
Thirdly we have the smallest professional player pool and money out of probably all the other nations and yet we have the best competitive record amongst them all over the past 10 years.
Stop acting like Welsh Rugby is imploding, it's not, is it in a rough period atm with the regional set up? Yes but that's not only down to the WRU.
The Parkgate Hotel is an obvious waste of money and the WRU isn't being run the best but don't take it out on pivac and the boys doing their best. |

Too many injuries for Wales, Ireland are on fire regionally and internationally.
Wales haven’t the funds to compete. We need to go down to 2 regions with the top 50 players. Players exposed to top flight rugby with a chance of competing each time they take the field.
Club rugby returns sitting just under the regional game.
Scotland are now seeing the fruits of their Labour with only 2 teams. |

All teams have injuries. If the players that take their place aren't good enough, they shouldn't be playing. Simple. What about U20s Friday night? 53-5. Is that because of injuries too? We simply failed to turn up. |

Confession time..
Friday night I was on the piss in Cardiff and during a very d*unken conversation with an Irishman I told him I'd take a loss on the Saturday as long as Scotland won the game afterwards.
I would like to take this chance to humbly apologise to the whole of Wales for the terrible jinx I put on us.
I am very sorry and it won't happen again.
Also, Scotland - You're very much welcome.. |

Bit embarrassing but u accidentally pmd you my reply instead of the forum.
Tldr
Actually watch rugby outside of the international window and then you'll understand why that result comes as no surprise to proper rugby fans |

Knee jerk reactions are always quite embarrassing. In the cold light of day, the reason why we lost is simple. We have quite a small pool of players to choose from, and we have no given right to expect to discover World class players every generation. Sometimes, those players just aren't there. |
