As we are pretty new to this, what is everyone's go to clothing for a club?
So for the women I mean when you dress down, is it a sexy lingerie set or body stocking or something else?
Same question for men, do you have a designer pair of boxers or briefs? Or a pair of shorts that you enjoy wearing or just the towel?
More curious than anything as we are sure everyone is different, also looking for some ideas also!
Thanks for your repy in advance. |

Myself I never wear underwear so it's always just a towel, sometimes less depending on how things are going |

It depends on the club, really. Generally, we wear nice going out clothes if it's a club with a bar area and socialising space. Smart jeans and shirt / casual sun dress or jeans and a nice top.
Rob will dress down into a pair of boxers (no fancy label). Steph will be in a lacy number (bra and thong or a one-piece). In spa-type clubs, we'll both be nude under a towel or Steph may wear a bikini.
We've regularly seen people a bit more covered up if that's how they feel most comfortable. White t-shirt and boxers for him, a longer negligee or satin gown for her. |

Most clubs will have a site with an FAQ section on dress codes. Some clubs are dress down on arrival, others are dress down after a certain time or if you're in certain areas of the club. Others have no dress down rules at all.
Some club nights have specific dress codes for certain nights or events. I believe Townhouse had a strict suits and cocktail dress rule for one of their regular events. Most are just 'dress to impress' with a no trainers / sports wear policy. Think 'fancy winebar' style and you won't be far wrong
I think all clubs have lockers so you can always take a bag with an outfit change if you'd prefer to have a few options available. |
