Had covid beginning of Dec and have totally lost my sense of smell. All I'm able to smell is diesel exhaust fumes in my nose and I'm nowhere near an exhaust. Anybody else had covid and have a kiss of smell/taste? |

If you use Facebook there is a long covid group that you may find helpful. Immediately after covid my senses returned for maybe a month. Then the smoke smell moved into my nose for weeks. Wood and cigarette smoke for me. Occasionally a very sickly sweet rotting smell. It's a known after effect for some people. Now my senses are dulled but mostly normal. Occasional smoke smells still. My friend had covid months before me,only symptom was loss of taste and smell, and now can only smell smoke. |

I can't believe this, for months and months after covid I swore I could smell smoke, like fire smoke.
I didn't even consider it to be linked to covid, just spent hours looking for fires in work |

I didn't lose mine but a friend said that all he can smell is petrol fumes.
My daughter had it at the end of August and she's regained complete sense of taste and smell |
