We have been having a discussion on what is the best biscuit for dunking in tea...

Know chocolate hobknobs are out favourite biscuit but we are debating whether its the nicest dunker.

We had been introduced to Tim Tams by an Australian friend but do they count as biscuits?

We have been thinking long and hard on this and would appreciate some external input...

Genuinely don’t see the attraction of a soggy biscuit…

Ah but a good dunker doesn't get "soggy" per se, it holds its shape and texture but takes on the flavour of the tea. For instance a rich tea does indeed become soggy and is pointless as a dunker in my opinion (mr)

Be it hard or soggy, still can’t see the attraction of a tea flavoured biscuit.

Traditional chocolate digestive for me. Tea and biscuits is the perfect combo in my opinion.

You clearly weren't at Eton with the Prime Minister.

The Hob Nob retains structural integrity while absorbing a certain amount of the liquid. It's like they invented a biscuit for dunkers.

I do love the chocolate hobnob dunked.

But I hate all the bits in the bottom of the mug as you get to the end!

I dont mind the bits at the bottom!

Its when you dont use an appropriate biscuit and the bugger breaks off in your cup of tea. Thats is gross...

Dark chocolate digestives & they’ve made them more dunkable so they don’t drop in your tea
