I know socials are a thing, really well run and are absolutely fab - but is there ever like a night out social?
Wondered if anyone'd be interested in a social night out in Cardiff sometime soon?? Bars/clubs kind of thing? |

How is Friday the 26th of November looking in everyone's calendar?
Very rough plan of Meet in O'Neil's (on St Marys street) at 9ish, few drinks there.
Will have to see what the general consensus is but wouldn't mind going to Mary's, Pop world Coyote Ugly, and find our way to Pulse at some point towards the end of the night. |

"There's a place in Blackwood where the owner understands the "lifestyle".
Great drinks, music and atmosphere.
Had many a night out there and plenty of socials and always had a great time."

The issues you will have is you need to book in advance at most places now, we were in Cardiff only a few weeks back, we gave up and came home, I think you will also need a Covid Passport as well if I’m not mistaken, it came into force in clubs on Monday, but we would of loved to come along if we weren’t away until next week. |

Will make some calls to venues to double check procedures - but assuming everyone other has proof if negative test registered online or a vaccination passport online I can't see there being many issues.
Looking forward to a good excise to dress up and get out |

My local pub does after 9pm on weekends, this is the statement they posted with the info they were given-

From this Friday 15th October, on Friday / Saturday nights past 9pm, all customers will be required to show a Covid NHS Passport, proof of double vaccination or a negative Covid test to be onsite. Please visit this website to get yours: *deleted so I don’t break a rule*
It has been decided we fall into the category of “Nightclub” after this time due to us opening past midnight and creating an atmosphere where people can dance.
We know it is frustrating to have to change how we do things again, and we want things to settle down just as much as you do (believe me). But right now, the pandemic is not over, and we have to adhere to the laws of the Welsh government.
Please don’t give us a tough time about it, it was not our decision to have to do this. |

It’s really easy to get one, if you are double jabbbed or had a positive pcr within the last few months you just sign in and download the pass. If the above doesn’t count then take a LFT and if negative register it on your account and you get a 48 hour pass |

The Cardiff social was last night held in a pub by Cardiff Bay, the Newport one has a disco then some people go off to other venues including The Greenhouse.
