XMAS NEWPORT SOCIAL SATURDAY 18TH DECEMBER

The next Newport Social will be a Xmas one on Saturday 18th December
Xmas Fancy Dress Is Optional.
PLEASE DONT ADD YOUR NAMES IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF ATTENDING.
ALSO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE YOUR FILTERS WHICH STOPS ME FROM MESSAGING YOU, OR PLEASE MESSAGE ME.
YOU MUST HAVE A FEW RECENT MEET VERIFICATIONS TO GET PUT ON THE LIST.
It's in a private function room, closed to the public.
it will run from 7.30-late
Entrance fee is £1.50 per person.
There will be a raffle and background music.
This is a social evening, and there will be NO PLAYING AT ALL on the premises, anyone found playing etc, will be asked to leave the premises and banned from future Newport Social's.
As this is a social event dress code is smart/casual dress.
Anyone wanting information on hotel's etc, please feel free to email me.
All detail's will be sent out a week before.

But do your utmost to stay well off kinkypairs naughty list or you will be forever on the outside looking in. They put a lot of effort into these so a simple I can't make it is all that's required if it comes to it. Have fun and hope to see you there |

It will be good to meet friends old and new and hope Drakeford is kind to us and let us meet. We will be taking a Lateral Flow Test on Saturday morning so all will know we are at least safe to talk to!! Looking forward to our first Newport social. |

I hope not as well. I am thinking that without a furlough scheme of some sort they won’t close businesses or enact any changes that will force them to lay off staff. I was told today lockdown from Friday, but then I looked in to it and the actual info didn’t say that at all!
Also there are going to be a lot of Fabsters in Newport on Saturday night anyway…We are not losing that money for the hotel :D |

We've booked rooms to. I was off sick two weeks a go waiting for covid results ( negative) and didn't get sick pay ,not fair and they can't expect to close businesses with no scheme as you've said. Not fair  |

Trying to remain upbeat and positive and hoping they have lots of tables with 6 chairs and it’s not classed as a club as we have a hotel booked and don’t want to lose our money so we will still be heading to Newport regardless of the Friday Review. |

I agree that we should remain positive. If anything is announced Friday it may not even take effect until Monday. Plus they probably know that if they close things then events will be held unofficially and won’t be policed so to speak.
There are rumours going around like they have been since the beginning of all this. I can’t see why schools and youth groups would be told about pubs and nightclubs to be honest. |

Doesn’t look like England are bringing anything else in before January. We will probably follow suit…otherwise everyone will just be partying in Bristol/Liverpool/Chester etc. |

Personally I think Mark Drakeford has done a pretty good job trying to do the best for Wales during the pandemic.
Yes Labour have got some stuff wrong but at least we haven’t got Boris and his chums in charge.
If there is another lockdown I think it will be after Boxing Day or after New Years Day. |
