Been before covid and during, difference is instead of having a buffet style salad/veg type cart you now order 6(I think) side dishes at a time, you can just keep asking for more if you need more, the meat selection is outstanding..
One of the best dinning experiences we've had... great service, great food. |

I've been several times. Also after lockdown. The salad bar isn't there atm. But, you can order "sides" which are lovely and they come out very fast. The meat I've found is always cooked to perfection. And if your daring enough the Chicken Heart can be tasty!
If you sign up, I think you get a free drink too.
Enjoy! Great choice of restaurant. Make sure you wear elasticated trousers |

Viva Brazil is great for what your getting. A neigh on endless supply of meat.
If choice between viva brazil and pasture would go to pasture in heart beat.
Ok viva Brazil is where they keep bringing food over.
Steak is reasonable as well as other meats.
Pasture the steak is dry aged. Its cooked over charcoal. Gives a wonderful char/caramelized finish whilst still a wonderful pink medium centre.
The beef corqutees (spelt incorrectly) to start are wonderous. As well as Local produced foods.

Apples and Oranges there surely? Viva Brazil isn't competing with Pasture in my opinion. Pasture is a level above and in the bracket with the likes of Assador. Like you, I prefer Pasture.
As an aside, Cardiff is pretty poor for restaurants, given its size. |

City centre is poor we not blessed with best compared to England but there are a few good pockets around city that do good food. I'm like Bourdain drink and good food and go to places which you don't judge a book by its cover were locals go and are no chain restaurants or takeaways. |
