Where’s best to eat in Newport before the social? Trying to find a whetherspoons but can’t find one close enough to get to social xx

There's a wetherspoons on Cambrian road in Newport centre, the potters is also decent.

There's a wetherspoons 100 yards away from the venue. Its in the street behind the mcdonalds and before the travelodge
