Yes I got the venue. I will be keeping you informed as I go along in this thread. I managed to get the Friday after Valentine's so expect a romantic weekend. We will be holding charity auction (ideas or donations please (no not single guys(yet))) for Macmillan and sideshows. It is a black tie event and masks will be forsale if you can't get one before. Please get the word out as the venue holds 350 so plenty of space. Thanks j x   |

good to see this going ahead and charity too
as its Valentine's weekend theres going to be few single guys wanting to go at least some people will be happy |

This sounds like an excellent event and you are only in the planning stages. Please add us to the list of people wishing to attend. If there is anything we can do to assist then please ask. We are going to book holiday next week to ensure we can come without work obligations getting in the way.

Fantastic, so glad this is going ahead, and glad it's going to be for a good cause too...it will be a good idea to put the event in the uk forum too as I'm sure there will be people across the bridge or further out interested... |

I did mention to the couple organising this that as they had only been on here for a few weeks and had no veris that it would be a good idea to get to a social asap to get known and verified...thought it may have put some people off handing over money in advance to a couple nobody knew. They did say they couldn't go or even get to Chams for work reasons...

Very fishy, they did seem very keen, but funny how a mention of getting known and trusted before cash is paid has sent them into a tailspin.
