Good day.

I have recently changed my AD'S but now I have an issue where I am unable to cum or takes forever to a day to get there.

Don't get me wrong the women don't mind so much.

But after a while of banging away I lose interest in sex.

Any advice or tips to overcome this?

Thanks

I've had this issue with citalopram.

There are lots of different brands, maybe speak to your GP about changing brands/type? It can take a few weeks for side affects to go away as well, hopefully if you want to stay on them it won't be an issue for long.

Good luck!

Mine affect me like that, not ideal but I've decided to priotise my mental wellbeing & Park sex for a bit. I still enjoy the club scene & watching, I'm just not arsed to join in X

Any particular brand I should look into? I was on sertraline but that seemed to make me feel like a less shiny version of myself almost zombie like

Fluoxetine killed my sex drive stone dead, to the point that I didn’t even masturbate, so I don’t know if it made it harder to orgasm. But the one I’ve been on for the past few years, trazodone, is fine - sex drive normal, no difficulty orgasming. Maybe see if you can try something different?

Damn, maybe that's why I've not been interested in meeting or sex in any shape or form. I didn't think fluoxetine could possibly be a contributor..

At first I thought the depression itself was the reason for my lack of sex drive, but when I came off the fluoxetine it came back pretty quickly.

I started taking Sertraline last year during a very dark period and I have to say they made no difference to my sex drive, if anything it probably increased. Maybe have a chat to your doctor and see if there are any other options for you, or weigh up if in the grand scheme of things it’s not worth upsetting the balance you have with your ADs

Middle of nowhere

Yup both Sertraline and Citalopram killed my sex drive. Now 3 years no meds and it’s up and down. At the height of ADP’s I just didn’t really feel anything.
