Just relax. Don't worry about talking to people. Every club I've been to in the UK, there has been someone that will talk to you.
Have a wander around and take in the layout of the club and the sights. You may even get shown around.
From there on in you do what takes your fancy.
Don't follow people around, and don't be pushy. It will happen if it's meant to, not just because you want it to.
I often get chatting to people when I'm having a look around rather than the bar or lounge.
There is always something for everyone at a club and even if you don't get to play, you may find you get future opportunities to meet after.

As a solo woman who has been to chams plenty of times here is my advice;
Don't worry! It is so much friendlier than you'd think.
There are always plenty of really interesting people that will chat to you and make you feel welcome - talk to them!
Hang out by the bar for a while and you'll find conversation.
Ask someone for a tour, most of the regulars would be more than happy to show you around.
There's loads of fun to be had, but the bar/smoking area is fantastic for socialising.
Go with the flow, if it feels right go for it and have fun. If it doesn't you're under no obligation to play with anyone - you can say no and it is respected.
Just do it!
(Advice applicable to any first timers really, not just solo women) |

Thank you for this. I've not been to chams for nigh on 15 years but hoping to revisit soon. Doesn't stop the nerves kicking in though!

Don’t be worried, if you’re on Fab, you’re clearly open minded and looking to learn and enjoy the company of others. When we first visited, we were given a little tour and met some really interesting people whilst wandering around and in the bar area. There was no obligation to play but plenty of opportunities should you choose and remember, no means no, if you are/aren’t interested in somebody you can easily let them know ‘not tonight thank you’ or ‘Hell yeah.” Also, we quickly got to meet the regulars and the first timers alike. Like you, we were nervous, but now we enjoy visiting new places and seeing the differences that the various clubs offer. |

Morning All,
We’re in the same boat as some of the other posts and would love to try a club for the first time but very apprehensive about it. Some of the advice above is really reassuring.
On a practical point - what do men and women tend to wear in clubs?
Thanks x |

Women tend to dress sexily in lingerie but by half way through the night are just in a towel like the gents. Men it's boxers or towel. Towels are provided on entry. |

There are different types of clubs.
Cams is a wet club so towel for the men and sexy underwear for the fems.
Other clubs you wear smart clothes and some you can do either |

"What are the entry rules regarding solo males ?"
It's £80 membership for a single male for 12 months and £30 entry
I believe couples are £25 lifetime membership and entry fee which I can't remember lol |

We attended our first night on Saturday and it was very friendly, all the regulars made us feel comfortable and we were soon sipping our toes into the rooms
Hardest part is just getting the balls to walk through that door, but definitely recommend it!
We’ll be back soon |
