Do you think it is appropriate to have singers in the bar after all it is a swinging club not the labour club

Well considering the singer is a swinger, then yes its good fun.

We dont spend too much time at the bar anyway

but it does help to have a fun atmosphere.

well to answer your question we do live music in newport and in brum and in bristol the club ask's us for the entertainment and most people yes i said most people enjoy it as it's nice for people to sit and listen to as the singers normally involve the people in the club. Its no more different having a tv at the end of the bar which most people end up watching any way the music is normally to help with the atmospher of the theme party that is going on.But like every thing in life you can't plaeas everyone

Im a member at chams myself, and wouldn't have any problem with listening to live music while i was there next,id say it would make the atmosphere alot better to be honest.

We have heard Chris sing, and she's really good!

As to having a live singer in a club, lets be fair, its free entertainment, if you have paid to get in and you get extra for free, its got to be a bonus, right?

And.... whats not to like about maybe being in with a chance of having some fun with the singer, getting entertained by the entertainer... double bonus lol!

Finally a response the reason why I have asked this question is because me and claire was asked on the friday to come again that night cos there is a singer there we agreed after being reassured it would be a really good night oh my the place was empty not only that no one was in the bar not even the bar staff you had to go and find them to have a drink now im not having a go at the singer but come on do they belong in a swingers club just be honest do the really after that night I dont think so we was gutted it was a crap night you had to see it to believe it

so what your saying is it was a crap night because no one was there, whats that got to do with having a singer (whos a fab woman btw) or am i missing the point ?.

we have heard Chris sing (very very good) and it adds to it, but I know where you coming from regarding it being quiet etc. We went three weeks back and it was dead in there and cant see us going again for a long time which is a shame as we used to like going there. But as the above poster said this has nothing to do with the singing.

What im saying is we was asked to go to give support to the singer as many others were asked on that friday which they all said they will be there but only four of us turned up so this is my point for a singer that is so good with such a big following do they belong in a swinging club I think the answer lies with the amount that turned up that saturday night its a shame more people haven't wrote on here and say it as it is

By (user no longer on site)  over a year ago

totally lost me on that, are you saying that you arranged to meet people there because of the singing? and they didnt turn up so it peeved you off? surely thats an issue between you and the ones you were suppossed to meet not the singing lol

Ha ha what im saying is no one could stay in the bar cos the racket was that bad you needed ear plugs and if I lived closer to home I would have gone there so I could understand why the place was empty so there we have it do they belong I dont think so

Don't go to the apparant dive myself so nothing productive to add except that I proper laughed out loud at this post. Fair play.

Well as far as fixer1 last remark we take that personal racket my ass for a cpl who stay most of the time in the smoking area to make remarks like that is bollocks. And spend little time in the bar which is a public area in the club anyway.

we used to go to chameleons quiet alot, as far as singing in the bar i think why not. coz there are plenty of rooms to play in, the bar is for people to get to know people each other and chill, if there was a singer there it would lighten up the atmosphere, its a shame swinging has to come to this, people who argue over minor things shouldnt clash themselves as swingers life is to short, there plenty of war in the world

never been to chams, would love to someday.

So what if there is a singer there, everyoone comfortable walking round in various states of undress, fucking in public, but not in front of a singer? Some people are too...prudish.

And it does seem like the original question is being laboured somewhat

If I went to a swinging club, the last thing I'd be looking at is the singer, with all the hot men (!) swanning around.

The issue really is about the Newport Chams. Unfortunately it needs attention.Often smells.Has too many males. Not enough couples. Compared to Darlaston it's in a different world.

We have been a few times to Newport and been disappointed on many occasions

Just our opinion but wasn't for us tbh

But each to their own

Its hard to get daves attention behind the bar at the best of times lol

was told last week that live music is a big no no in future

Has Chameleons changed its name ? Where is everyone getting this "Charms" from ? Live music would be great tho we have not had the pleasure as yet but give it time .............

Personally as already said if i wanted to be entertained by a singer it would be either a pub or better still a proper stadium gig. Never been one for cover version pub singers. And before i get jumped on by gus this is just my opinion on pub singers in general not the ability of chris to sing.
